We are seeking a skilled System Technologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the functionality, scalability, and security of our systems through comprehensive testing methodologies. Beyond testing, you will provide essential support, actively engaging with customers to troubleshoot issues, gather necessary information, and ensure timely resolution.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science, Engineering or a related field.
  • 1 year of experience in Python/Bash scripting
  • 1-2 years of experience as a System Engineer or similar role
  • 1 year of experience using Linux or Unix environments, Debian or Ubuntu
  • Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent
  • Good understanding and knowledge of Networking
Beneficial Additional Skills and Experience:
  • Knowledge in cloud providers (AWS/AZURE/GCP)
  • Knowledge in Database technologies (MySQL/NoSQL
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • System testing: Able to perform functionality/configuration/scalability/security testing of the system.
  • Provide Tier-2 support for customer issues, should collect necessary information from the customer support/Reporter, create relevant Jira tickets, tracking the tickets, finding root cause & follow ups.
  • Must be able to identify and escalate the issues that arise during the testing of the in-house system.
  • Should be able to find root cause/narrow down the customer issues, if required further escalate to product team.
  • Maintain and utilize custom scripts and in-house tools for test automation of the system.
  • Create technical documentation for system upgrades and deployments, should excel in documenting software upgrades/fixes.
  • Control the System level regression testing. Compare/Analyze pre & post upgrade results of the system.
  • Supporting customer systems remotely. Able to support the upgrade process, should be good in troubleshooting/rollback procedures.

Office Timing: 1pm to 9pm IST
